Branch Connection Fittings:
Branch Connection Fitting is also named as Outlet fittings. Outlets are a family of forged products used to make 90 degree or 45 degrees integrally reinforced branch connections from a header pipe or run pipe to an outlet pipe or branch pipe. Outlet fittings have some outstanding advantages such as low cost, reliability and safety, standardization, simple construction, convenient design selection, and improved media flow channels. Outlets come with threaded, socket-weld, and butt-weld end connections. Branch fittings are available in all dimensions, bores, types (i.e. welding outlet, Nipple Outlet, Socket Weld Outlet, Threaded Outlet, Elbow Outlet), sizes, and classes, in a wide range of stainless steel, chrome-moly, and other alloys.
To place an outlet instead of the tee, A hole is cut in the side of the pipe, the Outlets are welded in place over the hole and then the additional length of pipe is attached to the outlet. Sometimes the run size is given as a possible range or consolidation. this means the outlet can be used on several different pipe sizes. for example, a 36-3 x 1 outlet could be used to branch 1″. pipe off of any run pipe from 3″ up through 36″.

Branch Fittings Types:
welding outlet Fittings:
Creative Piping Solutions designed and manufacture welding outlet Fittings to minimize stress concentrations and provide integral reinforcement. MSS-SP 97 welding outlet is the most popularly used branch connection fitting falling under the buttweld fittings family. Buttweld Outlets are available in a wide range of dimensions. It is well-suited for high-pressure weight applications. There are three pressure grade STD, XS, and Sch160 for the welding outlet.
Buttweld Branch Outlet is contoured to match the curve on the headed pipe and beveled on the branch side to mate up with a beveled piece of the branch pipe. We are leading producers of welding outlet using ASME B16.11, B16.9, ASME B16.25, and EN Standards. The most popular purchase materials of Welding Outlets are A105 and A234. We are the topmost exporters of Class 3000 Long welding outlet in the UK and UAE.
Nipple Outlet Pipe Fitting:
Nipple Outlet is mostly used for valve installation and exhaust. ASME B16.11 Nipple Outlets are manufactured in lengths ranging from 3.1/2 inches to 6.1/2 inches and for Sch 160, XS, and XXS schedules. ASTM A105 Nipple Outlet Manufactured for Extra Strong and Double Extra Strong applications in Class 6000, Clase 3000. Available with male-socket weld or male threaded outlets.
Socket Weld Outlet Fitting:
A MSS SP-97 Socket Weld Outlet has the same basic design as a welding outlet and Threaded Outlet where the major difference is that the branch pipe is connected to the run pipe, via the fitting, with a socket weld connection as per ASME B16.11. Socket Weld Outlets belong to the “socket fittings” family and are available in Class 3000, Class 6000, and Class 9000. ASTM A182 and A105 Socket Weld Outlet are used for lower pressure applications, and smaller pipe diameters (as compared to welding outlets).
Threaded Outlet Fittings:
MSS SP 97 Threaded Outlet and ASME B16.11 Threaded Outlet is a type of branch connection and it is threaded without welding. Threaded Outlets are used for low-pressure 90-degree pipe branches. The threading is generally of the NPT type and conforms to the ASME B1.20.1 specification. A105 Threaded Outlet is available in the size range of 1/2″ to 2″ and is welded over a hole either drilled or burned in the pipe. The pressure s usually Class 3000 and Class 6000.
Threaded Branch Outlet is contoured to match the curve of the header pipe and the branch side of the fitting has an NPS thread according to ASME B1.20.1. Normally, Thread Branch Outlet Fittings are used for NPS under 2″. Creative Piping Solutions is ISO certified supplier and exporter of Threaded Outlet Fittings in the UK, UAE, and Australia.
Elbow Outlet Fitting:
We are manufacturers of Elbow Outlet Branch Fittings using ASME B16.9 and MSS SP-97 Standards. Elbow Outlet is used to provide branch connections on 90 or 180 degrees short radius elbows(seldom used) or long radius elbows(most common). Elbow Outlets are available with socket weld/threaded connections or with butt weld connections in class 3000 or class 6000.
